Our approach
Dr. Joyce Park founded Skin Refinery, a virtual dermatology practice, to provide high quality, personalized, evidence-based care centered around the core patient-doctor relationship. As your dermatologist, Dr. Park provides diagnosis, medication management, skincare coaching, and more, for skin conditions such as acne, rosacea, melasma, hair loss, anti-aging advice, and skincare regimen creation.

Dr. Park is a board certified dermatologist who aims to deliver science-backed, highly personalized care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. After years of working in traditional hospital systems, Dr. Park realized what she wanted to do differently - bring the focus in medicine back to the core patient-doctor relationship. And so, Skin Refinery was born.
Dr. Park is the creator of Tea With MD (Instagram, Tiktok, YouTube, and more), which serves as a resource for evidence-based skincare tips from a dermatologist’s perspective. She enjoys busting skincare myths, testing products, and educating about sun safety and skin health to her community of over 700k daily.
Dr. Park attended college and medical school at Stanford University, and completed her dermatology residency at NYU. She was also the Inaugural Stanford-Global Health Media Fellow which launched her interest and career in medical journalism.
As an established skincare and beauty expert, Dr. Park is a frequent contributor to media outlets such as Allure, Marie Claire, Glamour, Forbes, Buzzfeed, Time, Huffington Post among many; podcasts such as the Gloss Angeles Podcast; and more. She has served as one of the expert judges in the 2020 2021 and 2022 Self Healthy Beauty Awards and the 2022 Glamour Beauty Awards.
Dr. Park is a sought after key opinion leader for beauty and haircare brands and industry partners. She has appeared on national TV and commercials for online platforms and connected TV, hosted events for press and content creators, and designed social media campaigns.
In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest with her husband and toddler son.
