Dr. Park can see patients living in Washington or California, who are seeking care for acne, rosacea, melasma, anti-aging advice, or skincare regimen creation.

At Skincare Refinery, you pay for the time that you spend with Dr. Park, simple as that.

Skin Refinery does not accept any insurance plans. However, you can use your health spending and flex spending accounts to pay for non-cosmetic appointments.

Your insurance plan can be used to pay for medications or lab fees; make sure to tell your pharmacy or lab that you want them to bill insurance for those costs.

At the moment, Skin Refinery is strictly a teledermatology service. If you have a skin condition that needs to be evaluated in person, please make an appointment with a dermatologist near you who can see you in office. We will not be accepting any appointments for skincare concerns other than acne, rosacea, anti-aging, second opinion for cosmetic consultation, melasma or hyperpigmentation at this time.

No. We do not go through any insurance plans, so you can directly book with Dr. Park at your convenience.

If Dr. Park thinks you need lab work done as part of your evaluation and treatment plan, she will order labwork for you through Quest Diagnostics, which has >8000 locations in the US. When you go for your lab draw at the Quest location nearest you, you can tell them to bill your insurance for your lab fees.

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the doctor's day that could have been filled by another patient. As such, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Patients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will still be fiscally responsible for the entire appointment, and will not receive a refund.

If you arrive late to your appointment, you will be seen for the remainder of your appointment time, but you will be financially responsible for the entire appointment.

If you are late for your appointment, you will still be seen for the remainder of your appointment that’s left. You will still be responsible for payment for the entirety of the appointment time.

If your appointment needs are beyond the scheduled amount of time, we will happily extend your appointment if time allows and you will be charged for the next highest time slot. However, we will never delay another patient’s appointment to extend yours. We respect our patients’ time and try our hardest to stay on schedule.

We request payment at the time of online appointment booking. We accept all major credit cards, flexible spending accounts, and healthcare spending accounts.
